FAQ
Questions, answered.
What is a DomainValueScore?
An objective 0–1000 score of a domain name's quality — its fundamentals, market demand, liquidity, risk, and scarcity. Think of it as a credit score for domains.
Does it tell me what my domain is worth?
No. It measures quality, not price. It isn't an appraisal or a valuation — what a domain sells for is set by a buyer, timing, and negotiation. See our Disclaimer.
Why do appraisals disagree but this doesn't?
Dollar appraisals guess a price from sparse, mostly private, quickly-stale sales data. We score the name from stable, public signals with fixed rules — so the same name always earns the same score.
Is it free?
Yes. Scoring any domain is free. Pro adds the full per-factor breakdown, report exports, and on-demand re-scores; a one-time Certified Score gives you a signed, verifiable certificate.
What is a Certified Score?
A $19 report with the full factor breakdown, a signed PDF certificate, and an on-chain attestation any buyer can verify — built to back a listing, a negotiation, or due diligence.
Do you take a commission?
No. We're not a registrar or a marketplace and take no cut of any sale. The score answers to the data, not a transaction.
Can I score a whole portfolio?
Pro is built for working at portfolio scale, with full evidence and on-demand re-scores. A dedicated bulk portfolio view is on the roadmap.
Can I use the score in my own app?
Yes. The same score is available as machine-readable JSON through our scan API — made for apps, AI agents, and marketplaces. No key is required for public scans.
