Terms of Service

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of the DomainValueScore website at domainvaluescore.com and its scoring API (the "Service"). By using the Service you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

The Service

DomainValueScore evaluates a submitted domain name — its length and structure, extension, brandability, keyword appeal, market demand, and name scarcity — and combines those factors into a single 0–1000 value score with a descriptive band. Registration status and history are detected and reported alongside the score.

Scores are estimates, not appraisals

A DomainValueScore is an automated, point-in-time estimate of relative market appeal based on observable characteristics. It is not an appraisal, a valuation for accounting, lending, tax, or insurance purposes, a price guarantee, or professional, legal, or financial advice. Actual sale prices depend on buyers, timing, and negotiation, and may differ substantially from any score. Scores may change as evidence, data sources, or our methodology change.

Acceptable use

We may rate-limit, suspend, or block access that we believe violates these Terms.

Intellectual property

The DomainValueScore name, website, scoring methodology, and software are owned by us and protected by applicable law. These Terms do not grant you any rights to our trademarks or branding. You retain whatever rights you hold in domain names you submit.

Third-party data

The Service relies on public data sources such as RDAP registries and DNS resolvers. We are not responsible for the accuracy, availability, or practices of those providers, or for any website hosted on a domain you score.

Disclaimer of warranties

The Service is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including fitness for a particular purpose, accuracy, or non-infringement. We do not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that scores will be accurate or complete.

Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, DomainValueScore will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss arising from your use of or reliance on the Service or any score — including decisions to buy, sell, hold, or price any domain name.

Changes

We may modify the Service or these Terms at any time. Continued use after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms, reflected by the "Last updated" date.
